The things people ask.
Do guests need an app or an account?
No. They scan the QR code (or tap the link) and the page opens in their phone’s browser. They can add photos straight away.
What quality are the photos?
Whatever the guest’s phone took. We store the original file byte-for-byte and never compress it. What you download is what they shot.
How long are the photos kept?
90 days from the date of the event, and you can extend that whenever you like. We email you before anything expires, and there’s a 14-day grace period after that.
How long can guests keep adding photos?
Until 7 days after the event, so the ones taken on the way home still make it in. You can close uploads earlier if you want.
Who can see the album?
Just you, by default. Guests only ever see their own uploads. Sharing the whole album with guests is a switch you flip when you’re ready.
Is there a limit on photos?
No — a paid event has no photo or video cap. There’s a fair-use limit of 500 GB per event in the terms, which is more than any real event uses.
